This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Richard Shamblin who was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 27, 1954 and passed away on December 13, 2010. You will live forever in our memories and hearts. Rick was a beautiful soul with many demons he fought for his entire life. He hid his pain well. The day he chose to end his life, my life ended also.
Although I spent a short 6 1/2 years with the love of my life, they were the best years of my life.
Rick Rick... Go rest High on that Mountain... wait for me, I will see you again one day... i am sorry you felt this was your only way to end your pain.... I tried to show you a Love you had never known, if love had been enough, you would still be here with me.
